==Diglett's
Trivia== |
 |
|
Shovel is here to get the latest tid
bits, trivia, rumors, and any other miscellanious
information on Pokémon that he can get! It could
be crazy, it could be zany! It could just be
plain ol common sense, but if it's just useless
information, it's going in here! Just a little
not: This section is for novelty purposes, so don't
take anything SERIOUSLY!
The
Pokemon Names |
Wondering
how Gamefreak came up for the names for
all 150 Pokemon? Well, we are too. So we
have made it one of our many goals to
tell you how these names were made...and
the odd name's they were going to have! |
- Ekans
is Snake backwards!
- Arbok
is Kobra backwards!
- Abra,
Kadabra, and Alakazam! Woo hoo!
Let's do some magic! Did you know
that Abra's orignal American name
was Hocus and Kadabra's was Pocus?
- Machop's
original name was Kara-tee,
Machamp's was Kung-fu, and
Machoke's was Ju-doh!
- Rapidash's
original name was going to be
Gallop (ugh..)
- Magnemite's
original name was Coil, and
Magneton's was Recoil!
- Ghastly's
original name was Spirit, Haunter's
was Spectre, and Gengar's was
Phantom!
- Cubone
was Orphan, and Marowak was
Gaurdia!
- Hitmonlee
and Hitmonchan. "Lee"
must have came from Bruce Lee and
"Chan" from Jackie Chan!
- Koffing's
name was NY, and Weezing's is LA!
- Omanyte
was ESS, and Omastar was kargo!
Put 'em together, and you got
ESSKARGO!!
- Kabuto
was ATT, and Kabutops was LANTIS.
Put 'em together, and you have
ATTLANTIS!

The Rumors |
These are the
rumors that are floating around that
involve Pokemon. Of course, they may be
false... |
Prof.
Oaks Hidden Village, TM51, and
the Thief Ball!!! |
Okay
I haven't tried this out yet, so
I'm not totally sure if it works.
Once I try this out, I'll confirm
with you all if it does actually
work. A very reliable friend
shared this with me and some
select others so please be
thankful to him!
First, you MUST have caught (or
traded) all 150 pokemon BEFORE
beating those four (five if you
count Gary) guys at the end. If
some of you are saying, "Then
how do you get Mewtwo since you
have to beat the game to get him?"
Trade duh! Well anyway, go it to
Prof. Oaks house, and talk to him
20-50 times WITHOUT leaving. He
will get mad, and leave through a
hidden door. There will be a
"Hidden Village" You
can buy master balls, and thief
balls, as well as TM51! Tm51
evolves ALL final form pokemon:
Charizard - Charcoal Eeve - MOON
evee! Onix - DIMonix ect.
The Thief Balls are said to be
able to catch other trainers'
Pokemon. Oh well, those trainers
asked for it when they bugged me
to fight em!
Thanks to Chase Miller for
this seemingly way cool trick! |

Pikablu/Mariru
in the American Game |
Go
to Bill's Cottage. Outside, use
the Itemfinder, and you'll find a
bottle in the river. Inside,
there is a note saying that
Pikablu is at Seafoam Islands. Go
to Seafoam, without flying. Once
there, look around with the
Itemfinder, and you'll find the
Pokeball with Pikablu inside!
Also, next to the Pokeball, there
should be a Mist Rock that
evovles Pikablu! We don't know
yet which level he is found... |
|
Myu
in the American Game without any
Game Lackey code |
Hmmm...
now how do we get Myu without
winning some contest, using a
Game Lackey (Game Shark, Game
Genie, etc...), or trading from a
Japanese Game? Well you can't!
But sources say that you COULD,
but I tried and it doesn't work.
Oh well, might as well tell you.
Proceed through the game and beat
Misty. Trade from another game a
Pokemon that has CUT. That means
you don't have to go to the S.S.
Anne to get it. Now that you have
a Pokemon that has CUT, you can
finish the game without having
the S.S. Anne leaving. Continue
your game until you have the
skills SURF and STRENGTH. When
you have these, jet back to the S.S.
Anne harbor. Since the boat didn't
leave, you can enter that little
area were you can see the whole
boat from the harbor. SURF to the
right, and there should be a
Truck on the beach. Use STRENGTH
to move it and under it should be
Myu! |
