BULBA FROM BULBASAUR'S MYSTERIOUS GARDEN
I used to work for Bulba at BMG for a time, and I learned a lot from there! Now here I am with me own site for fun! ^_^ I'm glad I got in touch with Bulba cuz he's such a great guy to talk to and he had a lot to say! I used to be Dragonite on BMG to clear that up...

The PokéPalace: Okay first off.. I know you're probably really busy with your site, so I would like to take this time and say how grateful I am for your time.
Bulba: Okay ^_^; Sure.
Bulba: Anything for old Drag' =)
The PokéPalace: Cool thanks! Now first question: What is your job at your website? (I already know, but I'm following a script :)
Bulba: :) Well, I pratically do everything at BulbaGarden. Though, staff help with news and sometimes little things like synopsis, and things. But I mainly do all the background work and design.
The PokéPalace: That's a handful... Why did you get involved with Pokémon?
Bulba: Oh, well I enjoy anything with Magic. Thats why I like Cardcaptors too! I got involved with Pokemon when NOA sent that one promo video home.. ya know, with Ash's "aunt"? I watched it like 90 times over =D I also enjoyed their "Pokemon Times" magazine they sent home, and I got the Pokemon TCG Starter set at Electriconic Bontique (first shipment there EVER too!). I got the game when it first came out, and raced home to watch the Pokemon Anime when it aired on UPN (Universal Paramount Network) at 3:00/3:30. The Anime was my favorite, because if you watch it closley it gives you tips on the game and TCG.

The PokéPalace: Why did you start your website?
Bulba: I started it because I was disappointed by all the bad Pokemon websites on the net, and I really loved Pokemon. I never meant for BMG to last this long, nor to get it this popular. It just happened.
The PokéPalace:Well it did, and I'm glad! ^_^ In a nutshell, can you give me a brief history of what you did with your website?
Bulba: In a Nutshell, well. I was first on Tripod for about two days, then I moved to Angelfire for a long time. Then I moved to Spree.com, then I asked FGA (fairgame.net) to host me. They offered me a domain, I agreed. I moved into BulbaGarden.com around the Summer of 99'. I started to get alot popular, and I started hosting. I started alot of Pokemon trends on the internet. Such as hosting, networks, Banner exchanges and even newspro. I became a top websit then, though I was pretty famous for my originality and humble"ness" at Angelfire and Spree. Now, we are on EUNI (euniverse.com). Its been a rough ride, since their servers are a little un-reliable. We get offers, but the hassal of moving always causes me to reject.
The PokéPalace: Why do you think people should visit your website?
Bulba:I think people should visit BulbaGarden because of its originality. BulbaGarden was made for the fans by the fans, and in such is a very humble website. Some of the main features of BulbaGarden are the anime. The Anime is created by me, with the help of fans submiting synopsis and staff with screenshots and video clips. WE currently have the best Pokemon Anime section on the internet.
The PokéPalace: Personally I agree. I love your Anime section. Now... If you could do anything to yoursite with just a snap of the fingers, what would it be?
Bulba: Rebuild all sections that were deleted mysteriously. That really put me back, though I'm having "fun" redoing them :)
The PokéPalace: cool, and good luck with that! Altough I would be going crazy... Do you know other Pokémon webmasters? If so, who?
Bulba: Oh boy, I know almost all of them. Like Jaxel, Kevin, Scrubb (PokemonCenter) Jensen, Athena, Scott (PokemonVillage), Scott (PokeBall.net), Torry (Pokemon.com), .. alot.. I don't always get to talk to all of them though, which I wish I could
The PokéPalace: wow... hanging with the big leauges there... What's your favorite Pokémon website?
Bulba: Mine, but second.. I'd have to say PokeMasters. They are a great site, I wish I could get as popular as them :| Thats my goal for this season :)
Bulba: WEll, maybe not as popular. But as much content that I could say I'm as good or better than them.

Bulba: Um, in experience I've learned not to mention individual sites that I dislike. Though, I must say, I'm disappointed with all the Pokemon websites with no content and alot of added features. LIke Network, Topsites, UBB. They are all just wasted space :|
The PokéPalace: Yeah... looks like they lost their touch for pokemon and care more about getting hits... Well, now what's your favorite all time website that you just can't resist not visiting everyday?

Bulba: Hmm, well. I can't always visit sites every day. I do visit mine every day, ofcorse. A little hard not to (cause' of updating). I do, however, got to enjoy this one site. Its called the "Anime Episode Search". Located at http://aesearch.cjb.net. Its a site where you can search for websites that contain Anime Episodes. Its really great, since I can never find Anime in my area.
The PokéPalace: That's cool... haven't heard of that site, so I'd better check it out... What tips would you have for aspiring Pokémon webmasters?
Bulba: Don't focus on Layout and what other sites have. Focus on original stuff. You need something to bring fans to your site. Such as mine is Anime. Find something you can do best, and do it. Once you gather fans with your original content, you can cause them to stay.
The PokéPalace: great advice bulba, I think you just described me! ^_^ Now for a couple of opinion questions... Who do you like better, Brock or Tracey? And why?
Bulba: I like Brock. He's more of a guy guy, and I like his personality and attitude. Tracey, I don't know.. I guess its just how I like Gore, I get a better vibe with him. Just as I do with Brock :)

The PokéPalace: hehe yeah... that crazy Brock. Goin for the girls... lol... Now who do you think is a better trainer, Ash or Gary? And why?
Bulba: Thats hard. One has alot of Pokemon and is faster, the other is more slower and less Pokemon. PErsonally, I like Ash better because of how he cares for his Pokemon and the friends he makes and adventures he embarks on. Gary is more of a bully, though I would like some of his Pokemon ^_^ (i.e. Blackie ^_^)
The PokéPalace: yeah... can't wait to see his new "Blackie" ((no spoilers now ^_~)) Now for a different kind of question... Who do you think should be President of the USA (any choice)?
Bulba: GORE GORE GORE!
The PokéPalace: well i guess that's nuff said... but if ANYONE wuz running, like Ash or any Pokemon, who would you want to be prez, and why?
Bulba: Bulbasaur ^__^ Because I *am* Bulbasaur O_o; :)
The PokéPalace: lol yeah i can see you as a great prez... and what kind of law would you make?
Bulba: Full Episodes on the net for free, all the time ^_^
